Summer fun happens on the stage! Campers will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while exploring a different theme each week. Each week will culminate with a short showcase performance on Friday which will incorporate props created by the students. Topics include:

Heroes & Villains
Create your own superhero and join popular Heroes & Villains in the quest for truth and justice. One-day options are available
Go “Into the Unknown” with Anna & Elsa as you create and perform scenes based on the new hit movie.
Explore Auradon and the Isle of the Lost with all the characters from Descendants 3.
Harness pop star power and perform some of the hottest new hit songs as you create a pop star persona!

Back by popular demand at DLC with all new songs. Learn about Broadway through the ages as you explore songs and scenes in our most popular camp of the summer. Have a blast working on singing, dancing, and acting before you head back to school! PLEASE NOTE: Students will be split into age appropriate sections for final showcases.
Endless Summer Fun
Grades K-5, 6-10
Back by popular demand with all new material! Celebrate summer in a fun-filled, action-packed week of drama camp. Older students with interest in directing will participate in “Director in Training” activities (grades 6-10). PLEASE NOTE: students will be split into age-appropriate sections for final showcases.
Musical Theatre Masterclass
Work with industry professionals to take your singing, dancing, and acting to the next level. Ace that next audition and learn to pick material with confidence! Hone techniques and complete the week with a new audition package, an updated theatrical resume, and a professional headshot. Have ideas for pieces you’d like to perform? Bring them along or let us make suggestions.
Design & Direction 101
Do you have an artistic eye and want to learn more about the theatre design process? Have you always wondered what it would be like to direct? Let your creativity shine in this week of camp! Learn about all aspects of the theatre-making process as you help paint the sets for our summer camp productions, conceptualize your own design element for an upcoming show, learn about directing and stage management, tour the tech booth, and more. Those seeking additional experience have the opportunity to sign up for future stage crew shifts of Director-in-Training positions.
Accomplished NYC-based cosplay artist Ms. Sarah P. is back by popular demand with all new projects! Have a favorite character whose persona you’ve always dreamed of embodying, or imagined a new character in your mind that you want to bring to life. Learn about costume design and creation, special effects makeup, character development, mask-making, and more! Whether dressing up at the Renaissance Festival or showing off at a local convention, this camp gives you the skills to shine during your next character appearance!
“Oh, the thinks you can think” when Dr. Seuss’ best-loved characters collide in an unforgettably imaginative musical caper! Students will improve their acting, singing, and dancing skills as they work together as a theatrical team. Camp culminates in two final performances. Join Belle, Beast, and all the enchanted objects in the castle! Make the magic come alive as you perform in a musical while working as a theatrical team. Camp culminates in two final performances.
Disney’s Beauty & the Beast
It’s a “Tale as Old as Time,” but it comes to life this summer. Explore the beauty of the story and the music in this fairy tale about not judging a book by its cover. Emphasis willl be placed on harmony singing, character development, and ensemble theatre. Improve singing, dancing, and acting skills while working as a theatrical team. Camp culminates in four final performances. PLEASE NOTE: This camp meets and performs at Howard High School.
In roaring twenties Chicago, “Merry Murderesses” Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly vie for the spotlight and the headlines. Ultimately joining forces, they search for the American Dream: fame, fortune… and acquittal. Work on character development, vocal technique, and ensemble theatre skills. In addition to rehearsing for the performance, participate in master classes with industry professionals on audition preparation, improvisation, and more. Camp culminates in five final performances. Please note that this is the High School Edition of Chicago, but still contains mature themes – contact us with questions. PLEASE NOTE: This camp meets and performs at Howard High School.
