Here are just a few things people are saying about their experiences with DLC.

“I am grateful for Drama Learning Center where everyone becomes a star — NO EXCEPTIONS. Every student is valued, honored, and held accountable. Every student is given clear expectations up front and the support they need to become a star. Every student is an individual and respected. The director is thoughtful, caring, professional, and her staff follows her lead. Our community is lucky to have such a truly accepting inclusive organization. I pray that our community grows more organizations like Drama Learning Center. And by the way, they did this on their own – no formal training, no grants, no laws – – just pure inclusion – – a very rare find.”
– Jessica Pearsall, Saturday Class and TYA Company Parent

“I just wanted to write to say once again how amazing your staff is, and how wonderful your program has been for our daughter. We enrolled her almost a year ago because we thought it would be great for her and her shyness.
Above all…more than anything…she has become more confident in every aspect of her life. She has always been outgoing with us, but she is now more at ease with everyone, including her peers. The staff have encouraged her every step of the way and should be commended for their hard work and dedication. We cannot thank you enough!”
– Marylynn Doff, Beginning Acting Class Parent

We had a wonderful experience with DLC. I was very impressed with the quality of the show. I was amazed at how you incorporated my daughter’s gymnastics ability into the show and made her feel like a superstar and she is only in Kindergarten! The kids had so much fun a rehearsals…they loved attending! You did a phenomenal job!”
– Jill Dinoto, Manor Woods Drama Parent

“DLC has been an amazing part of my life ever since I took my first class and it always will be. I’ve met countless people who have encouraged me and supported me through all the ups and downs of life. The teachers and staff are amazing and are like a second family to me. The productions are first rate and they prepare you if you want to pursue theatre or are just interested in it. I will always love the stage and I am the person I am today because of it. I cannot thank Drama Learning Center enough for showing me that.”
– Lillie Davis, Saturday Musical Theatre Student

“Drama Learning Center is a breath of fresh air in this high tech world we live in. You enter into a place where kids are given the freedom, permission and encouragement to be creative while learning valuable theater and life skills. The thing that touched our hearts the most is how inclusive DLC is, everyone gets a part in the production. There is no sitting on the bench for the majority while the “gifted” kids play the game, at DLC everyone matters equally. The members of the staff are some of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever know who truly have a passion for giving kids a real theater experience. We were so amazed that there is lighting, sound, costuming, sets, live music, videography and an actual theater. What a joy it is, as a parent, to sit in that theater and watch a cast of young artists take pride in presenting their work. We feel incredibly blessed to have been a part of this unique and memorable experience and what a privilege it is to say our daughters learned from the best. This has been the highlight of living in Columbia for our family and we say to the DLC Staff: We appreciate and value what you do, it matters very much in these young lives and you are amazing teachers and mentors. Thank You!”
